Golden, Colorado is a gateway to the great Rocky Mountains on the west edge of Denver. Golden was a mining boomtown in the 1800's, and was make the territorial capital of Colorado in 1862.. Golden is convenient to many points of interest, including Coors Brewing Company, Colorado School of Mines, Buffalo Bill Grave and Museum, Red Rocks Amphitheater and the Colorado Railroad Museum.
