  • Residence Inn by Marriott - Residence Inn is about a quarter of a mile from downtown Durango and about 25 miles from the Durango Mountain Ski Resort. All suites accommodations offer the comforts of home, with equipped kitchens and separate living areas. Guests enjoy the hot buffet breakfast and the evening happy hour.   • Iron Horse Inn - Inn is located 30 minutes from Durango Mountain Resort. Every room is a bi-level suite. Amenities include a indoor heated pool, hot tub and sauna. Pets allowed. 1-970-259-1010.

  • Travelodge - Located on the Animas River, this hotel offers free continental breakfast and high speed wireless Internet. Short haired pets under 50 pounds allowed with a fee of $8 per night. 1-970-247-1741.
